Cumberland Trust Adds Alyssa Mediate to Business Development Team as its Southeast Markets Expand

Cumberland Trust, a Nashville-based independent trust company, announces Alyssa Mediate as Business Development Officer based in Knoxville, Tennessee. In this role, Mediate will work with Heather Savage, Senior Vice President and Business Development Officer, to expand Cumberland Trust’s reach in East Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. Mediate will build relationships with the estate planning communities in these regions to connect individuals, families, and their financial, legal, and tax advisors with Cumberland Trust’s personalized trust solutions.

Prior to joining Cumberland Trust, Mediate worked as Assistant Vice President, Commercial Banker at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Pennsylvania advising clients on growth and operations, cash flow and efficiency, risk management, strategic guidance and capital, and wealth management. Previously, Alyssa served as a CARES Act Associate at Merrill Lynch, and clerked for First American Financial Corporation in their Commercial Services Division as well as Koch Industries.

Mediate holds a J.D. from the University of Toledo College of Law. Prior to earning her law degree, she received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Economics from Northwood University in Midland, Michigan.
