Cumberland Trust, a Nashville-based independent trust company, announces Scott Kendrick’s appointment to the company’s executive management team as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. Kendrick joins Cumberland Trust after serving as an executive consultant to the company since 2021. As Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, Kendrick will lead the accounting and finance functions of the organization.

Previously, Kendrick was the Principal of Kendrick Financial Services, LLC, an accounting firm assisting clients with technical accounting issues, mergers and acquisitions, SEC reporting, initial public offerings, debt offerings, and executive leadership. Prior to forming his firm, Kendrick was an assurance partner with Ernst and Young LLP.

Kendrick is a Certified Public Accountant. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration from Tennessee Tech University.
