Maya Wade joined Cumberland Trust in 2024 and serves as Client Onboarding Officer. She works with clients and their financial, legal, and tax advisors to make the onboarding experience as seamless as possible. Previously, she was an Associate in Compliance and Risk Management, responsible for account opening reviews and other risk management activities. Prior to joining Cumberland Trust, Maya worked as a Trust Specialist at Regions Bank. Her previous experience also includes serving as a paralegal at DearthGalat, a boutique Atlanta law firm specializing in wealth preservation and estate planning.

Maya holds a B.S. in Communication from Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia. She earned a master’s degree in Communication Management from the University of Denver in Denver, Colorado.
