Brandi Timmer joined Cumberland Trust in 2026 and serves as an Associate in Compliance and Risk Management. In this role, she is responsible for account opening reviews, administering compliance processes, and supporting a variety of risk management initiatives. Brandi works closely with the firm’s administration, legal, and management teams, and is known for her collaborative approach and strong attention to detail.

Brandi brings more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a career primarily focused on compliance oversight, as well as regulatory testing and monitoring programs. Prior to joining Cumberland Trust, she held compliance roles with several banks and wealth management firms, where she supported the development and maintenance of effective regulatory and risk management practices.

Brandi holds the GRC Professional (GRCP™) certification, which reflects understanding across governance, strategy, performance, risk, compliance, ethics, security, privacy, and audit. She is currently pursuing the Integrated Risk Management Professional (IRMP) certification, further expanding her knowledge of enterprise risk management and organizational decision-making.

Originally from Evansville, Indiana, Brandi recently relocated to the Nashville area from Charleston, South Carolina. She and her husband, Kevin, have two children and three grandchildren. In their free time, they enjoy fishing, traveling, visiting local parks, and spending time with their dogs.
