Samuel (Sam) Raymond joined Cumberland Trust as a Trust Officer in 2025. In this role, Sam works with the Personal Trust Administration team to support individuals and families, along with their financial, legal, and tax advisors. He focuses on being responsive, attentive, and understanding to build relationships with the clients and families he serves.

Previously, Sam practiced trust and estate law at a firm in Naples, Florida. He also served as chair of the Trusts and Estates section of the Collier County Bar Association.

Sam holds a B.A. in Psychology from Indiana University and earned his J.D. and LL.M. (Estate Planning) from the University of Miami School of Law. Sam is licensed to practice law in Tennessee and Florida.

Outside of work, Sam enjoys volunteering with People Loving Nashville (PLN) and Habitat for Humanity.
