Tim McCoy joined Cumberland Trust in 2022 and serves as an Assistant Vice President and Trust Officer on the Personal Trust Administration team. In this role, he provides thoughtful, personalized trust administration while delivering attentive service to clients and their professional advisors. Tim is committed to building trusted relationships and helping beneficiaries navigate the complexities of trust administration with care and responsiveness.

Previously, Tim served as Assistant Vice President and Trust Officer for Special Needs Trust Administration, where he worked closely with beneficiaries and their families to help clients receive the resources and support they needed in a timely, compassionate, and professional manner.

Tim is a graduate of the American Bankers Association National Trust School and holds the Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) designation. He brings more than 24 years of experience spanning banking, education, and trust administration, providing him with a broad perspective and deep understanding of fiduciary services. Tim earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, British Columbia, and a Master of Business Administration from Western Governors University.

Outside of work, Tim enjoys reading and crafting heirloom-quality hardwood rocking chairs for adults and children.
