Carla Hale joined Cumberland Trust in 2009 and serves as Vice President and Business Development Associate. In this role, she helps to oversee the onboarding of new client relationships in the Georgia and greater Southeast area, helping to ensure a seamless and thoughtful transition for new clients. Carla works closely with Cumberland Trust’s Georgia development team to coordinate customized trust solutions and deliver a high level of service to incoming and prospective clients.

Prior to her current role, Carla gained extensive experience within Cumberland Trust, serving as a Trust Officer in personal trust administration and working in the firm’s tax division. This diverse background provides her with a well-rounded perspective on trust and estate planning, allowing her to effectively guide clients and their advisors through complex situations.

Before joining Cumberland Trust, Carla worked as a Customer Service Team Leader at Larson Juhl, where she developed strong leadership and client service skills.

Carla earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art with a minor in Psychology from the University of West Georgia in Carrollton, Georgia.
