Austin Brown joined Cumberland Trust’s Asset Transfer Group in 2024 and serves as an Asset Transfer Officer. In this role, he works closely with Cumberland Trust’s business development and administration teams, new clients, and external financial institutions to support the transfer and onboarding of trust assets. Austin helps facilitate a smooth, accurate, and efficient transition process for clients and their advisors.

Prior to joining Cumberland Trust, Austin spent five years with Raymond James in the Account Transfers Department, where he gained extensive experience coordinating asset transfers and supporting client account transitions. Earlier in his career, he served as Business Online & Cash Management Coordinator at Bank of Bartlett, developing experience in banking operations and client service.

Austin earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Christian Brothers University in Memphis.

Outside of work, Austin enjoys being active in his community through involvement with his local Knights of Columbus council and his church.
