Asha Nivison joined Cumberland Trust in 2012 and currently serves as the Chief Information Officer. She brings more than 30 years of experience in operations, project management, software implementation, and technology innovation across the trust and custody industries, as well as the healthcare sector. In her role, Asha leads the fiduciary operations and tax departments, Salesforce and software implementation, data analytics, and information technology.

Prior to joining Cumberland Trust, Asha was Director of Implementations at Change Healthcare/Emdeon, where she led multiple onshore and offshore teams. Her previous roles also include leadership positions as Vice President of Global Securities Custody Operations at Deutsche Bank/State Street and Director of Client Services at Informa Solutions.

Asha earned both her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and MBA from Belmont University’s Jack C. Massey College of Business. She is actively engaged in industry and community leadership serving on the FIS/AddVantage Product Development Committee and on the boards of The Women’s Fund at the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee and the YWCA of Nashville & Middle Tennessee. She is also an active member of 100 Women Who Care.
