Cumberland Trust, an independent corporate trustee serving clients in 48 states, today announced the opening of its newest office in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Its expansion comes at a time of growth for Cumberland Trust, who recently surpassed $3.3 billion in client assets under administration, and opened a new 27,000 SF headquarters space in Nashville.

Already, the company currently administers a sizable asset base across the Northeast, including Pennsylvania. Cumberland Trust’s new Philadelphia office signals its commitment to helping more advisors, individuals and families in the region.

“As Cumberland Trust continues to increase its presence in the Northeast, adding a Philadelphia office is a natural step for the company,” said Joseph K. Presley, Chairman, President and CEO of Cumberland Trust. “This space enables us to increase our capacity to meet demand from partners and clients in the region who appreciate our dynamic, personalized trust-focused capabilities.”

Headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee since its founding in 2001, Cumberland Trust also has offices in Atlanta, Austin, Dallas, Chattanooga, Knoxville, Memphis, Tampa-St. Pete and St. Louis. The newest office at 100 N 18th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103, is Cumberland Trust’s 10th and northern-most location.

The Philadelphia office will have an eye on growth and making local hires to service the area. To contact Cumberland Trust’s Philadelphia office, call 267.529.6500.
