Nashville, TN – Stephen Crofford Jr., Vice President and Sr. Fiduciary Counsel at Cumberland Trust in Nashville, has been accepted into Class III of the Southeast Fellows Institute of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC).
Stephen earned his J.D. degree from Belmont University College of Law in Nashville, TN and earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He joined Cumberland Trust in 2016. Stephen is licensed to practice law in the State of Tennessee. He is a member of the Middle Tennessee Estate Planning Council and a member of the Trust Legislation Committee of the Tennessee Bankers Association.
The Southeast Fellows Institute was created by ACTEC Fellows to develop the profession’s future leaders in trust and estate law through a series of in-depth educational presentations led by outstanding subject matter experts in each field from across the U.S.
The institute includes six sessions for lawyers who were nominated by an ACTEC Fellow and selected through a competitive application process. The program begins in September 2025 and concludes in May 2026.
