Cumberland Trust continues to grow as clients choose to put their trust in the company’s comprehensive abilities to service the diverse needs of families. The Nashville-based independent trust company recently added three new hires to its team to help it further deliver best-in-class proactive trust and estate administration to its clients.
Cumberland Trust’s new talent:
- April Drennan joined Cumberland Trust in January 2019 as Vice President and Special Assets Officer. In her role, Drennan will focus on the ongoing administration of special assets held in trusts, such as commercial and residential real estate, closely held business interests, agricultural properties, and mineral interests. Prior to joining Cumberland Trust, Drennan worked as a Trust Advisor at SunTrust Bank in Nashville, TN. April is a graduate of American Bankers Association Trust School and is a member of the National Trust Closely Held Business Association and the National Trust Real Estate Association.
- Caroline Mitchell also joins Cumberland Trust from SunTrust Bank, where she was an Assistant Vice President and Trust Advisor. She began in Cumberland Trust’s Estate Administration Division as a Trust Officer in January 2019, where she works directly with families and advisors daily. Mitchell is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and the Estate Planning Council of Middle Tennessee.
- Chattanooga native, Eric Roddy, joined Cumberland Trust in late 2018 as a Trust Specialist, supporting Trust Officers with various administrative duties including bill pay and distribution, and assistance with the overall caretaking of the trust and client relationship.
“We’re pleased to welcome these three, talented professionals to Cumberland Trust,” said Joseph K. Presley, Chairman, President and CEO of Cumberland Trust. “We strive to deliver the highest quality of care and attention to each of our clients, and April, Caroline and Eric have already proven to be valuable additions to the Cumberland Trust team as they’ve helped us continue to offer exemplary service to families across the U.S.”
