Erin Richardson joined Cumberland Trust in 2018 as a Trust Administrator. In this role, Erin focuses on providing a high quality of service to clients with special needs and special care concerns. Prior to joining Cumberland, Erin was focused on supporting and advocating for students with disabilities. In 2010, she co-founded the Special Education Advocacy Center (SEAC), a Nashville non-profit dedicated to providing education advocacy support and services to families of children and young adults with disabilities and served as that organization’s Executive Director from 2011 through 2017. Through her role at SEAC, a previous position as Director of Legal Advocacy with The Arc of Davidson County, and some time spent as a private advocate for students with disabilities, Erin has had the opportunity to serve students and their families throughout Tennessee. She continues her involvement with SEAC as the President of its Board of Directors.
Erin holds a B.A. in Journalism from American University and a J.D. from The University of Florida College of Law. She is licensed to practice law in Georgia.
